Description Pseudobulbs 7.5-25 cm x 6-8 mm, tapering towards the apex; leaves 5-10 cm x 10-20 mm, deciduous at flowering time, oblong, acute, apex unequally lobed; inflorescence from the terminal portion, opposite leaves, slender, decurved, 3-4 per pseudobulb, bearing 10-15 flowers; flowers 15-18 mm long, pale green; sepals subequal, partly open, linear, acuminate, 17 mm x 2-2.5 mm; petals linear, acuminate, 12 mm x 1 mm; lip 5-6 mm x 3-4 mm, 3-lobed, decurved from base; lateral lobes narrow, deeply serrate, green with radiating red lines; terminal lobe obdeltoid-ovate, strongly curled outwards, acute, margins serrate-crisped; disc  with obscurely 3-lined smooth surface with a triangular apex ending at the terminal lobe; mentum deep purple

Rhododendron
